Thekingsspeech-a4 chittyprog

Originally written by David Seidler as a stage play in 1970 but requested by the Queen Mother not to pursue the play until after her death, Seidler then developed the screenplay for the internationally acclaimed film in 2010. The film starred Colin Firth as King George VI, the king who conquered his debilitating stammer with the help of maverick Australian speech therapist Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush).

CCADS are proud to bring the stage play of this much loved true story to Portsmouth in the intimate surroundings of the Square Tower.
