Joey was the apple of Grandpa's eye ...

CCADS Theatre revive their award-winning 2017 production of this magical, truly heart-warming sequel to the mighty ‘War Horse’ by Michael Morpurgo, one of the world’s most successful and well-loved authors.

Joey was the last working horse on the farm, and the apple of Grandpa’s eye. This beloved horse was sent to be a War Horse in World War One – and Grandpa had joined the cavalry to find and fight with him.

FARM BOY brings us forward fifty years with Grandpa telling his grandson not only the story of Joey but a closely guarded secret which he has kept for many years …

Set in Devon and joyously, through laughter and tears, celebrating the bond between the generations, FARM BOY is a delightfully entertaining play suitable for all ages … adults and children alike.

Come and join us in the perfect, balmy setting of The Half Moon gardens in Sheet as part of their Summer Music Festival supporting Home-Start Butser.
